ADVOCACY & ANTI-STIGMA
Are you interested in advocating for new and/or improved behavioral health services for yourself or others? There are many ways to get involved in advocacy and let your voice be heard.
The Mid-Shore Behavioral Health Coalition
The mid-shore behavioral health coalition
This Coalition brings together community leaders to address the behavioral health needs of individuals, families, and providers in the mid-shore region alongside regional legislators. Coalition efforts are focused on improving behavioral health access and service delivery, anti-stigma, and awareness. Each year, the Eastern Shore/Mid-Shore Behavioral Health Coalition presents to the Eastern Shore Delegation in an effort to advocate for access and expansion needs. The Coalition meets throughout the year to support local advocacy efforts and joining in state Coalition-led efforts.
