Controller

Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc. (MSBH) is seeking a full-time Controller to oversee and manage its day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will ensure the maintenance of accounting records and internal controls in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Key responsibilities include directing internal accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, payroll, bank reconciliations, audits, insurance, tax reports, and fixed assets. The role also involves compliance with government reporting requirements, implementing fiscal policies, and supervising finance staff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Master’s preferred), CPA certification, seven years of progressive financial accounting experience in a nonprofit setting, and five years of supervisory experience. Willingness to participate in routine monthly meetings exploring anti-racism and application of DEI principles is required.

Marketing and Events Coordinator

Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc. (MSBH) in Easton, MD, is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to manage communications, event planning, social media, and graphic design. The role involves coordinating external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and training events, while working with a diverse team and community partners. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience in event coordination and marketing, and strong organizational, communication, and graphic design skills.
