A Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) holds a doctoral or master’s degree in a  health and human services counseling field from a regionally Board- accredited educational  institution. An LDADC practices clinical alcohol and drug counseling and provides services involving methods in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and amelioration of psychological  problems, emotional conditions, or mental conditions of individuals or groups.
